Our History and Mission
Galería Palomas was first established by Sharon and Roberto Moya in 1978 at 207 Calle del Cristo in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, and later continued operations in 2006 from Marblehead, Massachusetts until 2016. In 2022 the gallery emerges online featuring its extensive catalogue of artworks by Latin American and Puerto Rican artists to the Diaspora and specialized collectors around the world.
By late 2024 the return to a physical presence for the gallery in Old San Juan marks its artistic roots fostering emerging talent with ‘pichón’ de Galería Palomas. Located in 277 Calle de la Luna, this dedicated facility will showcase local and contemporary offerings, augmenting its online market with the immediacy of new works.
Galería Palomas offers artworks for sale, both in the primary and secondary markets. It is also the official representative of works from the Roberto Moya Estate.
